In honor of the new legislation that was passed by the CA legislature, this week's debate topics are all related to GLBT issues. Please find a new story related to anything GLBT, could be an event or a celebrity or anything and blog about it. There are a great deal of famous activists and perhaps you could familiarize yourself with a few. Also, the film Milk from 2008 received lots of recognition for bringing the history of GLBT issues into light. So if you have the chance to see it please do. The topics for this week are:
THW give all couples the right to marry.
THW remove "Don't ask, Don't tell".
THW actively stop bullying at schools. (think how and think about how this ties into why these issues should be taught in schools).

I cheered for the us team:) but Japan still won :( no offense to you Japan cheerers (cough,cough,Amy ) but us is better :P I feel sad for the earthquake they got but mother earth and the gods decided it... Tough luck but whatever I'll be nice... YAY JAPAN!!! No really I'm serious
